Finishing touches

I normally leave coaling up a model locomotive to last. It's a tradition that says that everything else is done and the finishing line is in sight. Of course I have used proper, real, welsh steam coal (get in touch if you would like to buy some as I have a big bag) held in place with a PVA/water/washing up liquid mix. It's just sparkly enough to look right, something other types of coal don't always manage.

Fortunately the bunker was water tight. PVA leaking out over the paintwork isn't much fun. Ask me how I know...
