Do you fancy building a garden railway, but worry you don't have the space?
Fear not – this month we feature five different large scale model railways to inspire you and cast aside all those space worries. Whether you can find the space in your garage, or need to fill the patio, we have something for everyone.
Back at the workbench, there are livestock wagons to build, a remote-controlled scale car and an Irish railcar.
All this plus the latest product news for the enthusiast including a review of Roundhouse Engineering's Palmertson “Small England” live steam locomotive.
Hello Phil, Not a comment in this mag, but on Railroad Model craftsman, sept 21 page 66-71'New York Central steam tug', with pictures and drawings including interior layout. Also an article on modelling barge operations. Also nice railfanning on prototype model railroads articles. The whole mag is quite different in style than the typical big 4 UK model train mag.
ReplyDeleteI Last wrote concerning the stance of your lindberg tug. The NYC tug is bigger but has the perky attitude. There is still a railroad barge operation here on the Fraser river to Vancouver island, Railfan and Railroad Feb 21 had an article on the Local Southern Ry of BC that services the dock . When on the river i often have to stay out of the way of Tug - Barge carrying truck trailers, plus barge like truck ferries and lots of tugs pulling woodchip and gravel barges and log booms.
I enjoy the variety of your blog, thanks for the work.
