Warehouse Wednesday: GWR yard crane
Spotted at Fawley Hill last weekend, a GWR yard crane. I recognise it from a recent issue of MRJ, but can't be sure if it's the 6-ton version built in the article. Can anyone identify it?
its the girder thing to the left of the yellow triumph spitfire (?)

ReplyDeleteyes, it's a 6 ton crane from Severn Tunnel Junction Station in Monmouthshire. It was there from around 1938 and arrived at Fawley in 1990
