Saturday Film Club: Track Cleaning
I've been looking at keeping your tracks clean in one of my latest BRM TV videos, which is now on general release, so you can enjoy it here.
Lighter fluid and the cardboard tube from inside a roll of poo bags here. But then I only have a 14" pizza to clean. Some 009 modellers swear by graphite, but I've not tried it myself. Rail Zip works on the Xmas trainset, which is a basic oval under the tree, must try it on the 006 pizza.

Nice layout by the way. Simple and understated.
Something you didn't touch on is minimising the risk to lineside structures and details while cleaning the track.
