Small layouts in RMM

Blimey - over a quarter of a century old and Melbridge Dock can still make a magazine cover! There are many human models who would be considered too old for that accolade.

Anyway, the appearance in the Railway Magazine Guide to Modelling is because I've written a piece on the joys of building small layouts.

Regular readers will know that I'm a big fan of building small. To my mind, far too many people ruin their first attempts at our hobby by dreaming big and then coming unstuck as the demands of time, money and a lack of skills turn the project from pleasure to a monster.
