Ever a sucker for a bit of Manx tat on eBay, I won a couple of very vintage badges. They arrived, and the big surprise was the fabulous collection of Isle of Man post office stamps on the envelope. Easily as much fun as the badges, and definitely deserving of a place in the collection!

What a lovely thing to do. The seller obviously realised you'd appreciate the gesture, and I would absolutely keep the packaging too!

The seller probably knew that the stamps would be appreciated and would be going to a good home! My guess is that the interesting variety is due to the stamps having been part of a collection — but due to the declining interest in philately, they are now only of value as postage… A sign of the times.
