The model is 105mm long. On the gaudy orange chassis, all we have is "Fowler Steam wagon 1927" but no makers mark.
The cab is riveted on, but the load bed attaches with screws which suggests that alternatives were available.
Can anyone tell me more?

Hi Phil, I think you have a Lledo Fowler steam wagon. Lledo always seemed to be rather light on model detail and actually putting their name on the model, I seem to remember various versions of this model being available, I think there was a Fishermans Friend, Halls Lozenges and a couple of other promotional versions.
I think it's too large for a Lledo and there is too much plastic (all the orange stuff is plastic) for them, they did more diecast.

It does seem to be a Lledo production, most commonly seen in a Halls Mento Lyptus promotional livery
