Taken from the slightly terrifying Emirates Airline thing (Boris's cable car) over the Thames, this is one of those views not easy to get on the ground. There are gates and dogs and stuff to stop the casual photographer from poking around, even if they are interested in industry and boats.
Click the image for a better look (it will take you to Flickr) as there's a lot of interesting detail to be seen. Boats under repair, tugs, barges, enough junk to film and episode of The Professionals. If I liked heights more, I'd have happily hung about for a longer look...
