Saturday Film Club: Another micro narrow gauge railway from Germany

A few weeks ago, I shared an Austrian (I thought it was German) garden-based miniature railway that was part of a planning dispute.

Now I've found another, this time a proper narrow-gauge line around a swimming pool. The filming is sumptuous with some useful drone shots should anyone need a trackplan. It would make a fascinating model!

What a great video - the ultimate garden railway. Watching something like this makes you admire someone who does something for which there is no standard process, is totally of of the ordinary and if it goes wrong is going to have cost a lot of time and money. Seeing what has been achieved here is amazing. Thanks for finding this Phil - very inspirational and would make a really interesting model which given my finances and garden is about as close as I will come to something like this guy has built!

Woody, over on the minimal gauge railways facebook group you'll find some examples of railways being squeezed into relatively small gardens, and doing real work as well.

I built a 7 1/4" line that, for experimental purposes, included a 7ft radius reverse curve
