A quick check in the Parker stores showed that we were out of PCB sleepers for plain track. Stocks of code 75 rail were OK and while point strip was just about sufficient for the "Layout in a box" project, a bit more wouldn't hurt.A mid morning phone call to Marcway for new supplies on Friday saw a brown paper wrapped box arrive just after 8am on Saturday. Excellent service.
Removing the wrapping revealed the box shown. Have Hornby really decided to produce components to scratchbuild track or was it just a handy box to pack sleepers ?
