Sunday sad Sprinter
OK, it's not actually a Sprinter, but the title doesn't work if you put the correct unit number. That, and I'm not sure what it is - 158?
Anyway, a unit on accomodation bogies spotted at Long Marsden in 2014.
I remember standing in Chaing Mai station, of all places and seeing one of those roll into the platform; it was identical even down to the Regional Railways colour scheme, just on 3'6" gauge bogies.

Technically they were introduced as "Express Sprinters" so Sprinter is ok.
And she does look very sad...

When they built the 158s they built a number of spare bodyshells - this is one of those.
Thanks Tim. Very interesting, and a sensible move as these are production line items.
