It seems that running trains on the carpet is the in thing at the moment - Vlogger Sams Trains does it a lot and loads of people watch his stuff.
Well, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em, so here's a procession of LGB and Playmobil locos running on a rug for your entertainment.
(Actually, the white Stainz is my Dad's Christmas present, and we just wanted to give it a run.)

Hello Phil, I can join em as i lucked out cycling to work in the pouring rain dec 27. Saw a big white styrofoam box with a train set lying in the alley behind someones garage,, so of course i loaded it up .The sodden cardboard lid shows it is a Faller e-train, rebranded model power, complete and in good condition apart from broken and missing rail joiners. 32mm gg 36'' diameter oval and siding, transformer, loco, tender and 2 coaches.Possibly 16mm scale. Once it dried out and i figured how to get the loco apart, with hidden plastic clips, contacts cleaned and lubricated, it works fine. My christmas train set!
My scale o stuff is nothing but trouble,always needing fixing.
