On the face of it, this is a thin month for me in BRM. I built a relatively simple rail-mounted crane as the introduction to the practical section.
Then I've photographed the NG7 layout, "Wheal Ponder".
And on the DVD (yes, a real DVD this month, I'm taking a look at Dynadrive.
But, behind the scenes, I've carried out several other tasks, including removing the background, to be replaced by skies, on the stunning layout "Janes Creek". Covered with well-modelled boats, there is an awful lot of rigging to cut out around...

I liked the rail- mounted crane. Also, the inset track looks very neat and I wondered how that was done? Maybe I’ll have to buy the mag…

It's some 3D printed track inserts. TBH, it's very old, and I'm pretty sure they aren't available any more. An opening for someone with a printer I feel.
But yes, you should buy the mag. After all the effort putting skies in behind Jane's Creek, EVERYONE should buy the mag (It is a terrific model though)
