Last month I mentioned that a Meccano Percy had joined my collection - but that it was missing the all-important key.
Well, I've done something about it, and written the process up for the World of Railways website, so you can read it (for free) over there.

Those eyes! U don't remember mine having those horror movie eyes!
The original key also functioned as a track gauge.
Obviously, I made mine different so it couldn't be considered a fake... Look, shiny! :-)
Not sure how useful a track gauge would be on the blue plastic stuff that come in the set, I winder if the keys were from Hornby O gauge castings?
