I only had time for a quite tour of The International N Gauge show this year, but still managed to book a couple of layout shoots for later this year.
However, I found a favourite stand - the Kato Minidiorama Circus.
It's mad. Lots of different little modules conected together. Difficult to describe, so here's some photos.
Mad? Yes.
Imaginative? Very.
Do I want to have a go? Very much so!

Oh yes! AOO9 version would be even better. Or even 16mm using Peco setrack.

I'd be up for a 009 module or two, I use Unitrack for my 009 test track anyway. In fact if the scenic element is silly/imaginative/vague enough a module could work in either 009 or N.
I'm told that Hiroshi Kato is attending the 009 50th weekend has generously donated 10 bases as prizes in the members raffle.
Paul B, looking at a lot of the modules and OO9/HO9 seems quite common. I'm beginning to sketch out an idea in my head to use three modules + a fiddlestick as a stand-alone cameo to be displayed in a black box at home, like floating theatre scenery, as well as part of a circus display.
I did briefly consider an Emett-inspired scene, but actually, in OO9 I think that would require skills beyond me.
They're surprisingly difficult to do well - there's no where to hide mistakes! Some of the Japanese ones are stunningly bonkers and well worth searching for.
Ive recently stumbled across these kits and have got a bit hooked on the idea - so much so, I bought my first kit today! Ive got loads of ideas for modules but am struggling to find curved kits in stock anywhere.
