Yorkshire Post Flying Scotsman special

Thanks to my friend Chris, I've obtained a copy of the Yorkshire Post Flying Scotsman special.

The magazine is great fun with a bit of history, and some very nice photos. Michael Murpogo channels his inner Lovejoy era Dudley Sutton as he reads his latest book to a couple of slightly bored looking children on a station platform.

Fortunatly, the editorial team behind it have gone beyond the famous loco - Richard Pulleyn talks about computerisation in th signalling world, as he plugs Signalling Centres in the North-East : No 2A Leeds - not an obvious Sunday suppliment article. The auction report even uncovers a golden spike from the USA, which turns out to be worth a breaktaking amount of money.

And the photo of Trevor I organised is in. Not sure he's going to thank me for it though...
