The first stage of forming the bonnet for this model locomotive is to fold up the inner former. That's a job that needs some bending bars or similar, I used a Hold'n'Fold, as the line must be accurate. I know it's half etched but there is a lot of metal here and tidy folds matter.
An end former is than attached plus four interior guides. I took time to make sure they were all vertical as this is going to matter at the next stage.
