Real life bark walls

Bark Walls

Here's an oddball building material - bark.

I've never seen it used before as building decoration but this is a real shop in a high street somewhere in the south of England. Sadly, it's an old photo and I can't identify the location any more accurately than this.

Why?

And how would you model it?

That's the strangest thing; I've never seen anything like it! The challenge would be to make it look like what it is...against the fine-ness of the moulded window and eaves details...perhaps Wills will bring out an embossed "bark wall" sheet!

You would certainly need DOGGED detrermination to model it!

I expect it would have the usual slate woof...the resulting model would at least winalot of attention...OK I am in the dog house now!
