Orange or orange ?
Here are a couple of Humbrol enamel paint tinlets. On the left is Number 18, Gloss orange. On the right is gloss orange, number 18.
The left tinlet is several years newer than the other. I plan to spray the paint so while my aged tin will probably work, it's likely to be on the tick side and give the airbrush and its operator, some grief.
What surprises me is the difference in the colours of the tops. I know the standard advice is that if you need several tinlets, get them at the same time as different batches can dry with slightly different shades but now looking at the lids I wonder if the entire formulation has been changed ?
