A daily updated blog typed by someone with painty hands, oil under his fingernails and the smell of solder in his nostrils who likes making all sort of models and miniatures. And fixing things.

Another reason to cut back on the shows
Show Guides. My collection includes one from every even we've attended as an exhibitor or where I've been demonstrating. Basically, if my name is in there, I want to have a copy.
This is perfectly understandable but there is a snag. Once upon a time, a show guide would be a couple of A4 sheets reproduced on a banda duplicator. Now they are more like mini-magazines with shiny paper and full colour covers.
My box file has convex sides and it only contains the last few years. There's a binder for the first few. At least I only keep the programme - it used to be all the paperwork!
