A daily updated blog typed by someone with painty hands, oil under his fingernails and the smell of solder in his nostrils who likes making all sort of models and miniatures. And fixing things.

Prototype for everything: Flaky transfers
Sometimes, when I apply transfers to a model, they don't work very well. I'm sure I'm the only person this happens to - except it appears I'm not.
Seen on the front of a Chiltern Railways Class 67 diesel, these look just like my efforts sometime turn out. Most of the letters are there but not all of them. If I produced something like this, I'd probably start thinking about doing them again. Not any more!
Chiltern Railways - Excellent trains and not excellent excuse for modellers!

Do that on a model and you can be sure someone will comment on your 'sloppy' work :-)
