Returning the Class14, I really have to stop kidding myself. Despite covering the body in an entire jar of green paint, there are still areas where the primer is showing through the paint. In this case that the photo actually looks better than the real model - the contrast doesn't show quite as badly as in daylight.Mind you, if the locomotive is only seen in the confines of my garage than everything looks fine and dandy...
Anyway, a new pot of green and I've touched in the corners and other areas that need a bit extra pigment. The areas between the engine bay doors are still a bit light but a light wash of weathering will sort this out.
