Model railway frustrations No.65 - paint that should dry matt and doesn't.
I'm looking at you Humbrol 33 and Railmatch Weathered black.
Fortunately, a quick coat of Testors varnish solved the problem but it's a pain to have to do it.
I'm guessing that the Humbrol (usually well behaved) wasn't mixed enough but the Railmatch? Surely someone there should have worked out that weathered back ought to have a bucket of matting agent mixed in?
