Warehouse Wednesday: Ipswich
I've been digging through my photo collection for some images to illustrate a future Ruston Quays article. Over the years I've built up a huge collection of industrial building pics and so I thought while they were out, I'd scan some in and post them here.
According to the back of this photos, I took it in Ipswich in 2001. I'm assuming this was on an evening when I was exhibiting there and went for a stroll around the docks.
Nice use of engineers blue brick for embellishments and I note that the fancy stuff doesn't carry around the end even though there were once windows so you could see it before the more modern building sprung up beside it. I'll use this on a model on the workbench at the moment.
