Have you ever wondered what happens during a model railway magazine photoshoot?
No? Tough. That's the subject of this weeks' video which shows Andy York and myself (OK, mostly him) taking photos for the recent BRM feature on the Leamington & Warwick club layout Kimble.

This is probably the nearest most members of internet model making forum sites are ever likely to get to a magazine photoshoot - well, unless they go to an exhibition (remember them?) and have a chat with someone who took the photos, or someone whose work was showcased.
To some people, this might sound slightly harsh - perhaps it is a little - but how many of the people on a number of sites have actually posted examples of their work?
Please note, I'm not making any comment about the quality of their work - just whether or not it exists.
Of course, some people might also have used sites like these to seek drawings or ask other questions - or to provide information in response to these questions. I've got no issues here.
Also, some of the people on these sites might have neither the time nor the talent to build anything that deserves to be showcased. I fully understand that - as well I should - after all, I could never imagine any of my "handy work" warranting an encounter with the "business end" of a Nikon ... .
Let's face it - I've never exactly been noted for dexterity - and this has nothing to do with me being left handed ... .
