Warehouse Wednesday: Aberdeen stone
Up to Aberdeen for this typically Scottish stone warehouse.
To be honest, I can't tell you much about this one, it's from a trip I made to Scotland a few years ago where I broke the journey in Aberdeen and wandered around the docks. These aren't very far off the city centre so it's not a huge trek. Seeing several giant oil rig support vessels moored up at the end of a normal street is a bit of a surprise.
Anyway, for modellers, the square windows would make easy modelling but the stone itself less so. There's virtually no relief between stone and mortar. Perhaps printed paper would work best here?
